I’ve hosted my very own debate show on Austrian television.

For more than two years, every week for an hour, I invited politicians, scientists, analysts and other experts to dive deep into a current subject with me. My goal was never to be purposefully confrontational, it was to offer my audience new perspectives and to inch ever closer to the best available version of the truth. I love playing around with ideas and information and finding new angles.

Currently, I’m on the video team at Neue Zürcher Zeitung.

NZZ is one of the most renowned news outlets in the German-speaking world. We focus on in-depth, high-quality explainer pieces that I deeply enjoy producing, presenting and editing.

I’m proud to say that I’ve interviewed some incredible people - both on and off camera.

Hugo Portisch, one of Austria’s most renowned journalists, shared his views on the Trump presidency with me. The Tsepkalos, Belarusian dissidents and nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize, spoke to me about life in exile and how best to end Lukaschenko’s dictatorship. Pulitzer prize winner David Barstow told me about his research. I’ve had policy debates with ministers, ambassadors and chancellors, I’ve learned from researchers at the world’s best universities and I’ve even shared a stage with the Austrian president.

I’ve hosted live news shows on everything from Russia’s war in Ukraine and the Covid crisis to a government scandal that led to the implosion of the Austrian government. I also hosted and produced a daily news show on Austrian television for four years.

I’ve presented at conferences and events such as Forum Alpbach, Salzburg Summit, Darwin’s Circle as well as multiple professional symposia and panel debates for European, national and regional elections.

as a public speaking trainer…

… I’ve coached CEOs and professionals at companies such as Wien IT or General Electric, as well as think-tanks and international organizations. My online course helps women from all walks of life who care about finding their voice and stepping into their power.

My work has been recognized by several awards: I was on the “30 under 30” list of the Austrian magazine “Der Journalist” in 2019. I also won the European Commision’s “eurotours” scholarship to fund a research project in Croatia. In 2022, I won the “Journalismuspreis von unten” as a recognition of my work on poverty and homelessness in Vienna, and for my work in public speaking and media training, the county of Tyrol awarded me, along with many other dedicated team members who care about media literacy, the “Kaiser-Maximilian-Preis”.
